Snow Day the Second

no comments yet

Well it’s the end of a long, cold and wet day. Ended up going to Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill with friends and, of course, a well-wrapped camera. Some great snowfights, a distinct lack of snowman building (tomorrow!) and some amazing views from the top of the hill. Exept with all the people hanging around, the snow at the top of Primrose Hill was just a sheet of ice, which meant it was quite hard to keep your balance. When you’re carrying expensive kit, a fall onto ice is not what you want – luckily, I avoided any tumbles.

A few people at the top said we’d just missed Lily Allen and a photographer (presumably together) being pelted with snowballs before she disappeared, which was a shame, but since I couldn’t recognise her in a magazine, I doubt I’d have realised who she was in the flesh.

I’ve put a lot of photos in the gallery below, including some great sequences of Jem throwing a snowball in the air and attempting to bicycle-kick it. Snow angels were fun, too.

There is a panorama from Primrose Hill waiting to be stitched together – I’ll make a separate post for it, as it will likely be quite large!
