You know, I have no idea I’m afraid! It may well have been turned on accidentally or on purpose before I got my hands on it, but as I didn’t have much time with it, I didn’t want to waste it going through all the menus before shooting!

About the noise in the shadows… are you sure you didn’t have the “dynamic shadows” (or whatever it’s called) option turned on?
